author, therapist, caregiver
I didn’t become a caregiver by choice, but by circumstance. I was finishing my last year in grad school and ending a bad relationship. Being grad school poor and on the verge of homelessness, my mother suggested that I stay with my grandfather who just happened to live a commuters distance from my school. And that is where my journey begins. 10 years later and we are still surviving. This quest has been filled with mistakes, more mistakes and a few wins too. I hope you can find my journey helpful to your own. I hope I can help you to avoid some of the struggle that comes with this life or at least make you feel less alone.
